1. Overview
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar mechanism that keeps a key/value pair on your device without sending it back to the server. This Cookie Policy explains what we use on therightelectric.com and why.
2. What we store on your device
We use a small amount of local storage on your device for two preferences:

Neither of these values contains personal information, and neither is transmitted to our servers. They live only in your browser.
3. Third-party cookies
We embed two third-party widgets from LeadConnector / HighLevel:
- Chat widget— the chat bubble that appears after the intro splash. The widget script is loaded from
widgets.leadconnectorhq.comand may set its own cookies on that domain when you open the chat or send a message. We treat chat as a primary contact channel (alongside our phone and email) rather than a tracking technology. - Booking widget — the embedded calendar on our Commercialpage. When you interact with it, it may set its own cookies under the LeadConnector domain. If you don't interact with it, no cookies are set.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, advertising retargeting cookies, or any other third-party advertising trackers.
4. Opting out of the chat widget
If you'd rather not load the chat widget at all, you can:
- Block third-party cookiesin your browser settings — the chat widget will still load but cannot set its own cookies.
- Block scripts from
widgets.leadconnectorhq.comusing a content blocker or browser extension. The chat bubble will not appear. - Reach us another way— phone, email, or the estimate-request form work without the chat widget.
5. How to clear or disable cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → Remove All. On iPhone/iPad: Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data.
- Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely or only from specific domains. Blocking third-party cookies will not break this Site — only the embedded chat and booking widgets are affected.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how to respond to that signal, we do not alter our behavior based on it. The opt-out options listed above are the practical equivalent.
7. Changes to this policy
We'll update this Cookie Policy whenever we add or remove a cookie or third-party tool. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
